“As an entrepreneur, what is truly important is that you leave something lasting in the world. I create brands with a social purpose. This is how I make my mark.”
On a business trip to South Africa, Peter was moved by the social injustices he encountered. It inspired him to help. He started by founding Ethos Water, which has provided clean water for over a half million people. Next, he launched Fonderie 47, which turns AK47s into beautiful objects that have funded the destruction of over 50K assault rifles and counting. Peter doesn’t just build brands; he creates opportunities for people to come together to create a groundswell of change.

“What makes art wonderful is when it's presented to you and you can't ignore it. This is what I am trying to do with my art and my music, and even as a human. This is how I make my mark.”
Kate Davis is a conventionally trained musician who writes unconventional music. She is inspired by all disciplines of art and is influenced by a huge range of music, having studied a variety of genres from a young age. A classically trained violinist, Kate was playing in orchestras by age 13 and later fell in love with American jazz standards. She quickly became known for her evocative singing performances. Kate has since been focused on defining her unique style, achieving a unity between music and lyrics, and to tell stories that are raw, genuine, and relatable. Just 24, she’s played the Kennedy Center, served as music director for a Nina Simone tribute concert at Sundance, and been named one of 15 Fresh Females of Pop. She hasn’t even released her first album. It appears she is well poised to achieve all she sets out to do.

“I love making art. I love writing. I love inventing. With each creation I can share something with society that only I can create. This is how I make my mark.”
Ōyama is a rising artist inspired by the visual language of graffiti culture. He found a way to bring this ephemeral art form into his studio then back out to the world by distilling it down to his own visual vocabulary. It’s called Quick Turn Structure, and it’s as uniquely identifiable as it is unpredictable. Through his timeless work and thought-provoking art critiques, Ōyama has become a force in the contemporary art world. He never stops thinking, doing, or evolving. And any blank surface is another opportunity to make his mark.
