CROSS INTRODUCES ITS NEW CROSS TOWN COLLECTION OF TIMEPIECES

Influenced by its sophisticated international following (Cross is at home in more than 150 countries throughout the world), the Cross team of designers set out to create a timepiece collection that complements the breadth of style found in its assortment of writing instruments. The new Cross Town collection of watches presents four distinctive designs from boldly reinvented classics to sleek on-trend timepieces.

The Cross Town collection takes inspiration from the world’s international crossroads – those awe-inspiring places in the most cosmopolitan cities, where distinctive points of view converge to form a dynamic landscape. New York, with its many crosscurrents of global design from communities like Soho to the Hamptons, symbolizes this spirit of a modern metropolis, where unique points of view contribute to the breadth of its offerings. The Cross Town timepieces, named after New York neighborhoods, offer a range of design that will appeal to different style preferences.

Each watch in the collection contains a precision quartz movement, mineral crystal and fine leather strap. The collection debuts in September at Cross stores, here, and through select retailers.

Tribeca Watch

A bold design with an oversized round face, the Tribeca watch features cutout windows that form a striking contrast on the dial. The hands float below these windows for a clean, contemporary appearance. Radial style numbers convey an almost Bauhaus-like beauty in their simplicity. Available with black perforated leather strap inspired by the Autocross Leather Collection™ or a smooth leather strap in either red or white. Water resistant to 165 feet. Case 42 mm diameter. Hamptons Watch

Cross takes the perennially popular tank watch and updates it with modern details. This timepiece features a streamlined, polished stainless steel case with brushed top-ring. The elegant face of this watch is offered in three color choices and dial variations. A conical crown is reminiscent of the iconic Cross pen top. The integrated leather straps with luxury textures add another element of refinement. Available in: toffee with smooth leather strap, diamond-etched face and black hands; black with grid-embossed leather strap, black pinstripe-etched face and silvery hands; or brown lizard-embossed leather strap, sunray-effect dial with golden hands, and applied numerals with a stylish, Art Deco flair. Greenwich Watch

Drawing on the appeal of a pocket watch and other vintage timepieces, the Greenwich watch boasts a grand, round face and a polished stainless steel case with brushed top-ring. Radial style numbers complement this classically designed timepiece. Available in: a brown edge-stitched, crocodile-embossed leather strap with date calendar, Arabic numerals, and silver-hued dial; or choose the black crocodile-embossed leather strap with Roman numerals and rotating date calendar. Soho Watch

With its broad, rectangular face, sleek proportions and pattern-etched dial, the Soho watch immediately conveys a confident, pace-setting style. The face of the watch runs nearly the width of the strap, a dramatic yet enduring design. The watch features a polished stainless steel case and conical crown evocative of the signature Cross pen top. Radial style numbers appear on the face and the leather straps are rendered in fashionable textures.
