Sensational On-Trend Stripes in the Century® II Turismo Pen

Inspired by the alluring abstract illustrations adorning spring fashions, CROSS designers interpreted the excitement of a grand prix race where high performance cars blur into speedy stripes of vivid color as they charge before your eyes. Embracing the trend of fluid prints and the infusion of strong, chic color combinations, CROSS created its new limited edition pen to be in sync with the season’s move towards bright hues, adventurous pattern, and a glimmer of shimmer.

The Turismo ballpoint pen (suggested retail price $60) with its dynamic, wrap-around design is set against a metallic background for just a hint of shine. The hot shot of pop-art color in this striped writing instrument delivers a racy spirit in three different color choices (track yellow, racing red, and turbo blue). Each one invites the eye with magnificent swirling hues - a design influenced by the Grand Prix events of Monaco.

New C-SERIES Pen Features Auto-Inspired Styling

With the new C-Series collection, CROSS introduces a bold new silhouette, inspired by the artistry and engineering of spectacular racecars. Influenced by the engineers and stylists who perfected the finest automobiles, CROSS developed the C-Series pen over the course of approximately two years. Every element, from the body and ornamentation of this pen to its essential mechanics, has been carefully designed in tribute to those great auto designers whose focus on aesthetics was matched by a high-performance need.

This contemporary pen is available in a capless combination Selectip® rolling ball/ballpoint model (s.r.p. $90), or as a fountain pen with a twist-off cap (s.r.p. $160).

With a wide body and tapered ends, the modern C-Series pen attracts with a sense of strength yet utility. The perforated appearance on select styles echoes the leather details of vintage cars, assuring a comfortable grip (available in Champagne, Carbon Black or Monaco blue shades). A powder-coated Performance Black pen offers a smoother finish that is reminiscent of rubber. The chrome appointments resemble the faceted style of lug nuts, while the chiseled look of the CROSS logo is inspired by a machined cast engine block. The thumb grip clip, evocative of a hex nut, has some pivoting capability to help affix the pen to pocket or paper.

Leather Pens and Accessories Shine in Silver and Purple

Purple reigns this spring, and CROSS incorporates a beautifully saturated shade of violet in its Autocross™ pen, one of the company’s most stylish writing instruments. Supple violet leather in a pebbled finish wraps around the body of this ballpoint pen (s.r.p. $50). The other shade being introduced for spring is metallic-silver, a softly glimmering hue that adds sophisticated shine in an on-trend color treatment.

Both violet and metallic-silver also premiere for spring in the Autocross Leather Collection™. These new colors will be available in padfolios, agendas, jotters, and pen pouches (s.r.p. range from $40 for a single pen pouch to $145 for the metallic-silver padfolio).

The violet tone will also be introduced in the women’s leather wallet collection, including card cases, slim envelope wallet, and passport wallet. The wallets are a new category introduction for CROSS and feature full-grain pebbled leather, signature perforation styling, a complimentary mini Cross pen integrated into the wallet design, and a SIM card pocket on the wallets.
