TIME TO SHINE:CROSS TIMEPIECE COLLECTION MARRIES
SIGNATURE DESIGN WITH AFFORDABILITY TO CREATE A NEW DIMENSION IN WATCHES
The new CROSS COUNTRY timepiece collection brings up-to-the-moment style to wrists
while protecting the wallet. In harmony with today’s demand for products that deliver
style and quality and yet are easily accessible, CROSS creates a timepiece collection
that is exceptional for its uncommon blend of on-trend design, precision engineering,
and attractive pricing.
The CROSS timepieces feature Swiss movements and uniquely engraved dials inspired
by best-selling CROSS writing instruments, with suggested retail prices from $90
– $325 (including chronographs). The collection includes strap and bracelet models
with pushpin clasps for men and women, mineral crystals, dependable ETA Swiss movements,
and water-resistance to 3 ATM (100 feet/30 meters) except for chronograph which
are resistant to 5 ATM. Certain styles are available with calendar display. The
collection of 21 models includes these design families:
- PARIS designs influenced by fashion trends:
- Men’s watches: A stunning addition to a men’s wardrobe, these watches feature
a square shaped face with an inset dial with engraving that replicates pebbled leather
– a design attribute of the Autocross pen. Engraved crowns have a Swarovski crystal
cabochon in either black or brown. Available in three versions: brown leather strap
and brown face; black leather strap with black face, stainless steel case with brushed
finish; or gunmetal gray face with satin-finish stainless steel case and bracelet.
(s.r.p. from $150-200).
- Women’s watches: Echoing the engraving found on the CROSS Sauvage pens, these
watches present tonneau-shaped, engraved dials with a subtle interpretation of giraffe,
zebra and python patterns. Colored bands in brown and blue patent leather as well
as a stainless steel bracelet model with a black dial, offer hip styling for women
but with a look that will transcend trends. (s.r.p. from $150-175).
- MILAN chronograph designs:
- These three chronographs boast large-scaled, bold dials, radial-diamond engraving
on the face, and stainless steel, screw back cases. Prices begin at $285 for the
model with rose-gold plating on a stainless steel case, chocolate brown dial, rose-gold
plated hands, and embossed brown leather strap. The stainless steel bracelet model
with white silver metallic dial and blue sub-dials is $300. A third version, a stainless
steel bracelet with black finish and black dial, has a suggested retail price of
$325. All chronographs are water-resistant to 5 ATM (165 feet/50 meters); they may
be worn in the shower or swimming in shallow water.
- CHICAGO classic designs for men and women:
-The polished appearance of these round-faced dials recall design elements found
in the Century and Townsend collections of writing instruments The dials (in tones
of black, rose-gold or silver) feature a sunburst-engraved pattern. The shape of
the crown echoes the conical top found in CROSS Century pens, one of the company’s
most beloved designs.
-Available in bracelet and leather strap models for men and women, each Chicago
timepiece features stylized numerals. Suggested retail prices range from $90-$150.
- MANHATTAN tank style watches:
-The perennially popular tank watch takes a refreshing turn with the CROSS touch
of design. These sophisticated models come in either a black strap version with
sunburst-engraved frosty steel blue dial, evoking an Apogee pen, or stainless steel
bracelet models with metallic silver or black dials for men. Women’s styles include
choice of embossed pink or black leather strap or stainless steel bracelet. Poised
for day into night wearability, the Manhattan timepiece ensures precision performance
and style at a pretty price. Suggested retail prices are: $170-190 for women’s models,
and $180-215 for men’s models.
These CROSS timepieces debut this September at all CROSS stores, online
here, and through select retailers
