NEW CROSSLINKS COLLECTION OF CUFFLINKS MAKES ITS DEBUT

Add flair to your French cuffs this fall with the latest accessory to emerge from the design studio at CROSS – its Crosslinks Collection of cufflinks. The CROSS cufflinks take styling cues from the design elements most associated with iconic CROSS writing instruments– among them the conical pen top that is a CROSS hallmark, as well as the company’s celebrated use of hand-polished lacquer and leather. The Crosslinks Collection consists of three designs: Conical; Autocross; and Signature.

The trademark conical top, found in both the Century and Townsend pens, influenced the development of the Conical cufflink design. Three Conical styles feature 23-karat gold plate or rhodium-plate with black enamel centers, or rhodium-plate with a crystal inset. The CROSS name circles the center of the cufflinks.

The design of the Autocross cufflinks echoes the chief characteristic of the Autocross pen – a more recent standout CROSS creation featuring supple leather that wraps around the body of the writing instrument. Pebbled, pillow-shaped leather in black, toffee, or red is framed by rhodium plate, giving these cufflinks an updated, classic appearance that comfortably fits workplace chic attire as well as more relaxed shirts.

The new Signature cufflinks (available in September) make a distinctive visual statement with vertical stripes and jewel-tone enamel insets. These cufflinks recall the elegant lacquer finish that is a design feature in a number of best-selling CROSS pens including Apogee and Townsend. The ribbing pattern is inspired by Empire-period styling that informs a number of Townsend writing instruments. The Signature cufflink colors include sophisticated hues of ruby, frosty steel, and smoke.
