Retail Sales Manager-Domestic Carriage Trade

Summary:

Based in our global headquarters in Lincoln, RI, the incumbent is responsible for increasing distribution, revenue, and profitability of the Cross portfolio of products, and implementing the brand’s strategy and image in the territory. Along with individual goals and objectives, the role will also manage the Territory Sales Managers (TSM) in the US.

Responsibilities:

In addition to the above, the incumbent will also be:

  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding targets and for holding their direct reports accountable to the territory targets. Also, provide timely feedback to the team by making use of annual planning and monthly reviews.
  • Partner with TSMs to assess opportunities and develop territory growth strategies.
  • Provide support to the brand’s direction and image, particularly with regard to visibility.
  • Ensure alignment between the company’s strategic goals and the activity of each individual member of the sales team.
  • Travel is required approximately 50% of the time for this position.
Qualifications:
  • 7 to 10 years of sales experience, preferably in merchandising.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business-related field.
  • Possess a strong awareness of market environment in premium/luxury segment.
  • Capable of performing a competent evaluation and monitoring of dealer inventory and sell through.
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills, with a sensitivity to customer needs is a must.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and effective and professional presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with dealers and associates.
  • Strong Forecasting skills.

Corporate Paralegal

Summary:

This position involves working closely with the General Counsel on responsibilities relating to contracts database maintenance, global corporate governance, including assisting with preparation of material for board of director meetings and maintenance of minute books for the Company and its subsidiaries; administration of intellectual property (“IP”) portfolios. The position has frequent contact with internal and external business clients and will act as a liaison between Corporate Legal and business clients throughout the Company’s global business units.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  • Draft distribution and sales agent agreements using template forms and incorporating business terms via discussion and negotiation with corporate business clients.
  • Undertake preliminary review of non-disclosure, license and other contracts, provide recommendations for revision and execute revisions in consultation with General Counsel.
  • Prepare release agreements and related documentation during reductions in force and other termination situations.
  • Draft board and shareholder resolutions for parent company and its affiliates and subsidiaries.
  • Assist in the preparation of board meeting materials.
  • Assist in preparation of annual governmental filings for foreign subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and file UCC filings for parent company and its affiliates as necessary.
  • Administer and manage trademark and patent portfolios in consultation with outside IP counsel and GC.
  • Conduct preliminary trademark searches to determine availability of potential rights.
  • Compose and generate various formal IP correspondence and documentation and coordinate necessary filings in conjunction with outside IP counsel and GC.
  • Set up and maintain accurate trademark and patent files; maintain IP data spreadsheets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or related field or the equivalent combination of formal education, training and experience.
  • Previous corporate law department experience or large law firm experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience preferably in a consumer goods organization.
  • Experience drafting and analyzing contracts.
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects with various deadlines.
  • Ability to distill the most critical information from situations and apply the appropriate legal lens for developing solutions.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with corporate executives, department heads, customers and business clients at all levels.
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills.

Customer and Sales Support Service Representative – Special Markets

Summary:

This position serves as the corporate focal point of both domestic special market accounts and sales representatives relating to their purchase orders and/or related business issues. Incumbent directly responsible for handling specific customer issues or may act as a facilitator between the customer, credit, Cross China, third party logistics, shipping distribution, sales administration, product control, QC and sales regionals. The role also be responsible for providing assistance in meeting business sales goals and supporting the inside sales team. In addition the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate customer order fulfillment, duplicating company logos, managing backlog order report, shipping and billing error problem resolution with internal contacts and outside carrier, e-mails, authorizing product returns, responding correctly to customer inquiries and managing 30-50 in-bound calls daily.

Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or higher.
  • 3-5 years experience in Customer Support Services preferably in a retail environment.
  • Understanding of customer order fulfillment process and our order entry system.
  • A high level of detail, design orientation and focus is required due to uniqueness of customer artwork decoration and special order requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential to courteously and tactfully handle customer issues, speaking with our manufacturing floor in China, or freight carrier.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to establish priorities, research and resolve problems, follow through timely on customer inquiries, and function effectively in fast-paced work environment within required time restraints.
  • Proficiency in MS Programs.
  • Freehand experience or knowledge of Art and Design specifically pantone colors a plus.
  • Occasional overtime due to business needs may be required during the year (some holidays).

Network Administrator

Summary:

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and monitoring the CROSS network. This position provides top level network support for end-user requests. Major job responsibilities include defining and implementing standard best practices for Windows server configurations, email systems, network security, remote network access, and LAN/WAN infrastructure. These best practices are shared with subsidiary and international offices. This position establishes strong working relationships with vendors for the ongoing maintenance, service and support of the network. This role provides ongoing mentoring for level I and level II network support personnel.

Responsibilities:

In addition to the above, the incumbent will also be required to:

  • Support Windows based servers.
  • Setup new servers and upgrade existing servers to meet the latest best practices.
  • Identify and diagnose complex problems affecting the performance of the network.
  • Develop and maintain Group Policies and software deployment scripts.
  • Implement network security and maintain network infrastructure.
  • Provide top level support for end-user requests.
  • Provide process improvement for all areas of network administration and support.
  • Setup and maintain firewalls, VPNs and remote network access.
Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience working with of LAN and WAN.
  • A bachelor degree or equivalent work experience is required for this position. MCITP/MCSE certification preferred.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and discretion on all job related information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft server technologies, including but not limited to, Exchange Server, Lync Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V.
  • Excellent communication and must be flexible, highly dependable and team-oriented.
