Forecast and Sales Analyst

Summary:

As part of our renewed focus on operational excellence, Cross is analyzing customer demand streams to improve our forecast accuracy. Demand forecast improvements will be a key initiative for the company and we are looking for a take charge individual with strong critical reasoning and analytical skills to support global forecasting. The Forecast and Sales Analyst will facilitate meetings with domestic/international sales managers to develop the forecasts. The individual will also work closely with manufacturing, marketing and supply chain departments to validate, monitor and adjust sales forecasts based on economic indicators and regional sales trends. The Forecast and Sales Analyst will also be required to develop monthly business analysis for senior management.

Qualifications:

Total Rewards Manager

Summary:

The Manager of Total Rewards will provide both strategic and tactical human resources leadership and support that meets the needs of CROSS in the areas of rewards, recognition, compensation and benefits. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this position will develop strategies and implement disciplined programs which directly support the achievement of business objectives.

This position will be responsible for the creation, strategies, program development, implementation, communications and monitoring of all reward and recognition programs (including executive compensation, base salary, sales incentives, short-term initiatives, market pricing, long-term incentives), benefits programs (including life, health, disability, retirement) and HRIS. The focus will be to continually develop strategies that align total compensation and benefits with business strategy, values, and mission.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to partnering with business leaders, managers and employees to enhance organizational effectiveness, which includes:

  • Providing coaching and guidance in the areas of compensation planning.
  • Consulting with managers on various matters related to organizational design and development that lead to improved effectiveness.
  • Coaching managers in various areas of performance management and assessment ensuring the right messages are getting to the right people at the right time to achieve maximum organizational effectiveness.
  • Providing advisory and investigative support on sensitive employee relations issues working with corporate and local legal counsel when necessary.
  • Managing and being accountable for HR projects on an ongoing basis ensuring managers and employees are informed of human resources policies, processes, practices and programs.
  • Using HR resources to streamline processes, provide analytical reporting for client groups, analyze trends and make recommendations for change where appropriate.
  • Partnering with HR colleagues, to ensure that optimal service delivery to the organization is achieved based on need.
  • Expertise in broad-based compensation program design, development and administration including Base Pay Salary Structures, Market Analysis & Benchmarking, Job Analysis / Evaluation, Private Equity Stock Option Programs, Mergers & Acquisitions, Short-Term Incentive Programs and Performance Management.
  • In collaboration with the VP, Global Human Resources, reinforce a pay for performance philosophy, optimizing and effectively communicating throughout the organization.
  • Interact effectively with Corporate, Business Unit, and Human Resources to optimize the effectiveness of all compensation and benefit programs. Building and maintaining excellent relationships with Finance, Payroll and business leaders is required.
  • Monitor trends/best practices, both internally and externally and make recommendations towards implementation or improvement.
  • Regularly assess the internal equity and external competitiveness of the company’s total reward programs.
  • Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee.
  • Manage, directly or through team members, external consulting and vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in experience.
  • 7-10 years of Total Rewards experience.
  • Demonstrated competency and experience developing and managing effective compensation and programs.
  • Demonstrated competency creating, developing and delivering Total Rewards Programs.
  • Demonstrated competency developing benefit programs.
  • Demonstrated competency and experience delivering training programs to all levels of employees.
  • Demonstrated success in all Human Resources functional areas within a fast-paced, consumer or luxury goods company environment is essential.

Continuous Improvement Manager

Summary:

The successful candidate in this position will identify and prioritize operational improvement opportunities in all operating and administrative functions across the company. They will also be responsible for developing our employee’s continuous improvement skills through leadership, training and coaching.   • Ensuring that any roadblocks are highlighted, escalated and addressed.
  • Facilitating and managing the Communication of C.I. Strategy across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Technology.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience leading and executing continuous improvement projects in a dedicated Lean Six Sigma position within a transactional environment.
  • Formal Lean Six Sigma training through certification with application of Lean Six Sigma tools and methods including DMAIC, DFSS, and Lean skill sets.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from recognized source.
  • Must have experience in how to successfully manage people through change. Must understand typical resistance to change and know how to overcome it.
  • Must have understanding of statistical tools and methods and be able to coach others in structured rigorous use of data.
  • Has prior experience in successfully leading and facilitating improvement.
  • Experience leading projects in supply chain would be an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office elements including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Access.
  • Ability to process and synthesize data, analyze and explain reports.
  • Must possess solid business and financial acumen.

Retail Sales Manager-Domestic Carriage Trade

Based in our global headquarters in Lincoln, RI, the incumbent is responsible for increasing distribution, revenue, and profitability of the Cross portfolio of products, and implementing the brand’s strategy and image in the territory. Corporate Paralegal

Summary:

This position involves working closely with the General Counsel on responsibilities relating to contracts database maintenance, global corporate governance, including assisting with preparation of material for board of director meetings and maintenance of minute books for the Company and its subsidiaries; administration of intellectual property (“IP”) portfolios.   • Draft distribution and sales agent agreements using template forms and incorporating business terms via discussion and negotiation with corporate business clients.
  • Undertake preliminary review of non-disclosure, license and other contracts, provide recommendations for revision and execute revisions in consultation with General Counsel.
  • Prepare release agreements and related documentation during reductions in force and other termination situations.
  • Draft board and shareholder resolutions for parent company and its affiliates and subsidiaries.
  • Assist in the preparation of board meeting materials.
  • Assist in preparation of annual governmental filings for foreign subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and file UCC filings for parent company and its affiliates as necessary.
  • Administer and manage trademark and patent portfolios in consultation with outside IP counsel and GC.
  • Conduct preliminary trademark searches to determine availability of potential rights.
  • Compose and generate various formal IP correspondence and documentation and coordinate necessary filings in conjunction with outside IP counsel and GC.
  • Set up and maintain accurate trademark and patent files; maintain IP data spreadsheets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or related field or the equivalent combination of formal education, training and experience.
  • Previous corporate law department experience or large law firm experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience preferably in a consumer goods organization.
  • Experience drafting and analyzing contracts.
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects with various deadlines.
  • Ability to distill the most critical information from situations and apply the appropriate legal lens for developing solutions.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with corporate executives, department heads, customers and business clients at all levels.
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
